Our Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete mix design makes the material lighter and stronger. Instead of 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick we’re able to pour 3/4 to 1 inch thicknesses. Outdoor benches are a perfect match for our new environmentally friendly mix design. Using reclaimed slag and a by-product of Portland cement processing, known as calcium aluminate is not only green, it uses a reactive mineral technology that seals concrete. Even without top coating, the surface actually becomes more sealed over time and with exposure to the elements.
